Yesterday I did not fare so well going 0-3 at the plate but its a long season and I am back today to see what I can get in done in MLB! First the record.

Tip: It's important to do homework on the games you won/lost the night before to see what maybe you may have missed or can do better in the future. For example, I lost a play on SF last night but it was a good loss if there is such a thing. I handicapped that Cain would pitch well and give the Giants a chance to win and he did. Too bad the Giants could nt come through but I digress.

I am pushing the envelope on my amount that I bet favorites with but I like Lilly and the Cubs today. The Cubs will not be worried over the opening day loss and they have plenty of bright spots from day one to include FukUdome. I am staying away from the run line in case they give Kerry Wood another chance, but will take the Cubbies. When CHICAGO CUBS team Played as Home team as a Favorite - During a day game - During the month of April - Coming off a lost in game 1 of a series - Coming off a Home loss they are 14-3

Tampa won the first game in this series but day two will belong to the O's. Caberera has gotten better every year and will pitch well against the Rays. He has allowed just 4 earned in his last three starts and will be ready for tonight.
Mets / Florida Under 9.5 -115
The under this game is my choice for a myriad of reasons. First mother nature will lend a hand with the wind blowing in for this game from right field at 14 mph. These teams have had quality outings from the bullepn in the early going with both pens sporting ERA's of 1.08 or less. Wegner is behind the plate and when he works with these two teams he has a history of under games. The under is 3-1-1 in his last 5 with the Mets. The under is 7-3 with his last ten behind the plate with the Fish. When FLORIDA team Played as Home team as a Underdog - After a conference game - During a night game - Coming off a 1 run win - Scored 5 or less runs FOR in their last game the under is 4-11-2

The Braves are an automatic fade right now. The Pirates have some good looking bats right now in the meat of their order and you can look for them to notch another win against the Braves who just can't seem to get a win right now against teams they should be beating. The Braves bullpen has been beat up and they are struggling early against lefties at .174.
