Interleague plays for tonight

Cleveland / Cincinnati Over 9.5 +100

I look for this game to go way over the total tonight. Two decent hitting teams go against sub par and the reds will be with a DH making an already potent lineup even stronger. Lohse is sporting an ERA over 6 in his last three starts and Lee’s ERA is over four and he goes up against Reds lineup that hits lefties much better than right-handers.

When CLEVELAND team Played as Home team as a Favorite - During the month of May - Vs. Right handed pitchers - Coming off a Win vs. AL CENTRAL opponent - Coming off a series win the over is 10-3

When CINCINNATI team Played as Road team as a Underdog - Coming off vs. National League opponent - Last 3 years - Allowed 3 runs or more AGAINST in their last game - Coming off a lost in game 3 of a series the over is 17-10-1

This one soars over the total tonight.

St. Louis +101

The cards come into this game as dogs and they face a slumping Tigers team who could not manage many clutch hits against the Red Sox in getting swept in a double header yesterday. Looper has been one of the better pitchers for the cards this year going 3-1 on the road with an ERA of just 2.08. Due to injuries Miller is making his big league debut, but if you have looked at his minor league numbers they have not been impressive. He started the season at Class A Lakeland, where he went 1-4 with a 3.48 ERA in seven starts before being promoted to Double-A Erie. To make matters worse the bullpen of the Tigers is tired after a double dip and posting an ERA over 6 in the last three starts. Look for the cardinals to get some run support often and early for Looper.

When ST LOUIS team played as a Road team - After a conference game - Vs Non Division Opponent - Coming off a Loss vs. NL WEST opponent - Coming off a Road loss as a Underdog they are 15-7

When DETROIT team played as a Home team - Vs. Right handed pitchers - Vs Non Division Opponent - Coming off a Loss vs. AL EAST opponent - Coming off a 2 game losing streak they are 5-10

Washington +106

I cannot pass up on a home dog that is playing good baseball against a road team playing lousy. In fact the Nationals have won six out of the last seven games while the Orioles have lost five straight and are road weary. The bullpens are not even comparable with the O’s posting an ERA over 6 in the last three outings and the Nationals a smidge over two. The home team gets the win here led by the hot hitting of Church and Zimmerman.
