I am going to cover as many games as I can with leans or picks and trends, etc. A lean is not a play but simply how I would play if I were going to play the game.

Leans: Pittsburgh + / Over

This team is too hot too ignore right now even though the Padres have the edge on the Hill. The over is the play with the hot bats of the Bucs, the Padres can hit lefties and Joe West behind the plate.

Interesting Trend: When PITTSBURGH team played as a Home team - Coming off vs. National League opponent - During a night game - Coming off a Win vs. NL WEST opponent - Scored 4 or less runs FOR in their last game the over is 15-6

Play: Philly -103

Wait to game time as this could become a plus number. I rarely play against a streak and the D-backs are on and they are hitting the ball very well posting two innings with 5 or more runs last night helping to cash the over. The difference is the D-backs cannot hit lefties very well and the Phillies need to win this to avoid the sweep while the D-backs will be happy with the series win. As much as Philly’s pen has had work in the last two games they have better numbers than the snakes pen and Ryan Howard is still swinging a solid stick. Of course I have some killer trends for tonight’s game too.

I can’t pull the trigger on this club right now although they have the better starter when it comes to numbers in the last three games. They also have a homer umpire and surprisingly the better bullpen numbers but they are still the Nationals.

Leans: Giants and the Over

Zito is just too good to pass up plus money but at the same time he is not good enough this year to take a chance on him. G-men struggle with lefties while the mets are great against them. PASS
