Rockies -112

I will wait on this line as I believe I will be able to get plus money by the time the first pitch is thrown. These teams are headed in the opposite directions as the Rockies have won four of five and the Orioles have lost five of six headed into tonight’s meeting. Francis has been pitching great for the Rockies and they have won 5 out of his last six starts and he has yet to allow more than two earned runs in any of those starts. Trachsel is having a decent year for the Orioles but he is not as good as advertised and is off a short 3 inning outing so look for the Rockies sporting a hot lead off hitter and an extra bat in the lineup to jump on him early.

When BALTIMORE team played as a Home team - Coming off vs. American League opponent - Vs. Left handed pitchers - Coming off a series loss - Allowed 5 runs or less AGAINST in their last game the O’s are just 3-20

Tampa Bay +115

The Rays were swept and embarrassed by the fish the last time they met and they will be looking for payback. Kim got the fish the win in the first game of the last series but it had a lot to do with the eight runs they put up against Jackson and the bullpen. J.P. Howell gets the start for the Rays and his first start of the season was a good one albeit against the Royals. The will get another solid start from him tonight and the win.

Play Against
Home teams (FLORIDA)
off an upset win over a division rival as an underdog, starting a pitcher who gave up <=1 earned runs in his last 2 outings

55-33 since 1997.
62.5% (30.7 units)

Reds +122

What’s going on here? Is anyone else looking at this line and drooling? The Reds are bad and the tribe is good, no doubt about it but look at some of these numbers. Te Reds do hit the long ball (2nd in the league) and the hit lefties hard. Lee has been plain awful in his last three starts with an ERA over 10 and the tribe will have to sit a bat without a DH. If you don’t know Homer Bailey you will tonight after you see him pitch this guy is the real deal. Bailey, who is considered one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball, was the seventh overall pick of the Reds in the 2004 draft. In 10 starts this season for Triple-A Louisville the 21-year-old right-hander was 6-1 with a 2.31 earned run average.
Indians are 3-13 in their last 16 road games with the total set at 11.0 or higher
Indians are 1-6 in Lee's last 7 starts following a team loss in their previous game

The reds are at home and the energy will be in high gear for Homer’s debut, they get the big win here!!

Over 9.5 +100 Cubs/Atlanta
Cormier is awful for the Braves and he just got beat up by the Cubs giving up eight earned and I see no reason why he won’t do it again tonight. It did not show in the power outage yesterday but the Braves hit left handers better at home and will be able to score some runs and the key here tonight is the umpire. Gre Gibson is behind the plate and he is an over umpire averaging 11 runs per game

Over is 15-7-1 in Braves last 23 games a home underdog
Over is 17-7-2 in Braves last 26 after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Over is 9-3-1 in Braves last 13 Friday games
Over is 10-3-2 in Gibson's last 15 Friday games behind home plate
Over is 5-2 in Gibson's last 7 games behind home plate vs. Atlanta

This one will go over the total tonight and make up for a loss in the over column last night!
